Gastohn Barrios is an artist, photographer and online content creator born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Due to his acting and modeling career he lived for several years in the United States, Chile, Spain and Brazil, where he gradually moved his activities from in front of the camera to behind it. In 2009, after spending nearly half-life around the world, he returned to his birthplace, from where was generating photographs that mix the sensual with the fashion and giving a strong artistic and personal accent to each one of his works. From there he has seen his work printed in numerous specialized magazines from different corners of the globe, such as Paris, New York, Atlanta, Sydney, Madrid, Mexico, Bucharest, São Paulo, Montevideo and Bogotá, among others. In June 2014 he won the fifth Annual Photo Contest of the NEXT Magazine of New York, so his work was exhibited at the Leslie-Loham Museum in that city. Also that year he got his first cover magazine of many in the important Brazilian magazine Júnior and his work is recognized throughout the world through the Internet. His photos and videos can be found on websites on five continents, making him an online celebrity and a benchmark for the LGBTIQ+ public, with three YouTube channels, exceeding 350,000 followers. He has been interviewed by the largest magazines aimed at this audience, such as the French Têtu, the American The Advocate, the Australian DNA and the aforementioned Brazilian Júnior, among many others. He is currently based in Mexico City, where he divides his time between his great artistic passions: photography, video creation and writing.
Gastohn Barrios es un artista, fotógrafo y creador de contenido online nacido en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Debido a su carrera como actor y modelo vivió varios años en los Estados Unidos, en Chile, en España y Brasil, donde paulatinamente mudó sus actividades desde el frente de la cámara para ubicarse detrás de la misma. En 2009, después de pasar casi media vida por el mundo, volvió a su ciudad natal, desde donde ha generado fotografías que mezclan lo sensual con lo fashion, dándole un marcado acento artístico y personal a cada una de sus obras. Desde allí ha visto su trabajo impreso en numerosas revistas especializadas de diferentes rincones del globo, como París, Nueva York, Atlanta, Sídney, Madrid, México, Bucarest, São Paulo, Montevideo y Bogotá, entre otras. En junio de 2014 ganó el quinto Concurso Anual de fotografía de la Revista neoyorquina NEXT, por lo que su obra fue expuesta con gran éxito en el Museo Leslie-Loham de Nueva York. También ese año obtuvo su primera tapa de muchas en la importante revista brasileña Júnior y su obra es reconocida en todo el mundo a través de Internet. Sus fotografías y videos pueden ser encontrados en portales en cinco continentes, convirtiéndolo en toda una celebridad en línea y un referente para el público LGBTIQ+, con tres canales de YouTube, superando los 350.000 seguidores. Ha sido entrevistado por las más grandes revistas orientadas a esta audiencia, como la francesa Têtu, la estadounidense The Advocate, la australiana DNA y la mencionada brasileña Júnior, entre muchas más. Actualmente se encuentra radicado en la Ciudad de México, donde divide su tiempo entre sus grandes pasiones artísticas: la fotografía, la creación de videos y la escritura.
